How do I begin to describe this day… So many memories came flooding back to me.
What an amazing honor it was to capture Kayla and Matt’s day! Not only are they just two incredible people, but Matt’s my cousin, and I have a lifetime of memories with him. Getting to know Kayla has been an immense joy and it is absolutely clear to me why the two of them are so in love.
The ceremony took place at St. Francis of Assisi Church- the same church I grew up going to (and went to school) as a kid. It was crazy being back in that beautiful church! The massive ceilings, the smooth cold walls, the bright and radiant stained-glass. So many memories there.
After the ceremony we hopped on a trolley and adventured the downtown streets of Rochester before meeting up with all the guests at Joy Ridge Event Center in Chatfield. Joy Ridge hosted the very best reception! Endless laughter, heartwarming toasts, and wild dancing took us into the night.
