Frequently Asked Questions

My style leans more towards a candid approach rather than posed. I’m always happy to jump in and give tips and suggestions when something looks a little off, but to me, the best photos are the ones that look and feel natural.

Typically I bring at least two cameras, a couple flashes, an assortment of lenses, memory cards, way too many batteries, and of course my favorite bags to carry said items.

I do! Travel has always been a huge source of inspiration for me. There are a ton of advantages in taking a local-to-you photographer for your destination wedding, and I’d be happy to chat further details if this is something you’re considering!

I always say 8-12 weeks for weddings, but in truth, it’s usually well before that.

Why I Became A Photographer in Minneapolis

The Twin Cities is where I call home. While I love traveling to different cities, photographing in and around Minneapolis just feels like home. Whether it’s the historic St. Anthony bridge and its amazing cityscape views, to the inspiring works of art at Walker Sculpture Garden, or one of the many beautiful local parks… Minneapolis is packed with beauty and I love that I get to photograph other couples in a city that means so much to me! For a creative, this city just doesn’t stop inspiring.
